Origin Outfitters offers a safe, fun and exciting trip on the water fly fishing for Striped Bass. We will provide all gear necessary, however if you want to use your own that is encouraged. It is always a good idea to learn and become familiar with your own equipment. On a guided trip, we will do everything in our power to put you in the best possible position to catch fish. It is our goal to have you finishing the day feeling competent to head out to your local waters and be successful. Once you have booked a trip, we will be in contact to go over the details of such as timing, your personal goals, and safety.

ABOUT ME
For some, fishing is a fun weekend activity. For myself, fishing is a passion. I am the guy that stands in 34 degree water all day just to catch a fish during the winter months. I eat, sleep and breathe fishing. The sound of the water, the escape from the stresses of life, and challenging nature of the sport are all part of what drives my passion. Some would argue it is an obsession.
I began fishing as a child, and as I grew older found I could manipulate my rod, lures, lines and adapt my techniques to increase my success. I found that everything from the angle of my rod, to the size of the knot could impact my ability to catch fish. This started the lifelong process of trying to understand fish in order to become a better angler.
My hope is that Origin Outfitters can instill the same passion within you, that you can then share with others.
THE VESSEL
We will be venturing out in a 2002 Triumph 17’ Center Console which was re-powered in 2019 with a new Yamaha T50. Reliability, and getting home safely is a top priority.
